Do You Iron?
When I ask this question it is usually met with peals of laughter. Then a few will admit that they do touch up cuffs or collars….maybe the front of a few things. And then there are the ones who love to iron.
When my boys were young, their babysitter loved to iron. I never asked her to iron but I’d come home to crisp blouses and smooth linens. My kids were the only ones in preschool with creases in their sweatpants!
As the boys got older and the sitter was gone, they fortunately went the route of t-shirts rather than oxford cloth. I bought clothes for myself that were permanent press or non-wrinkle knits. So the ironing board is only brought out for special occasions.
If you are a secret ironer, its time to come out of the closet and wear your handiwork proudly. We’re all just jealous.

Problem is my business is founded on the fact that other people hate ironing. We love it and eat it up!
