26 Recipes = 26 Laundry Stains: Xtreme Chocolate Cake
As I looked in my recipe box for and “X” recipe, there was nothing there. But, I know no one will complain about another chocolate recipe! This easy to make cake will satisfy even the most Xtreme chocoholic.
Xtreme Chocolate Cake
- 1 box cooked chocolate pudding mix (3 1/2 oz size)
- 1 box chocolate cake mix with pudding
- 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix (3 1/2 oz size)
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
- 1/2 cup Kahlua liqueur
- 1 can chocolate fudge frosting
Prepare the cooked pudding per package instructions, and chill in the refrigerator. Heat oven to 325 degrees F, grease and flour 2 round 9″ cake pans. Add the instant pudding mix to the cake mix and prepare following the cake mix instructions using eggs, water and oil. Add chocolate syrup and liqueur, blend with mixer on medium speed. Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour into prepared pans and bake until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean, approximately 45 minutes. Allow to cool thoroughly. Spread cold cooked pudding between layers. Frost top and sides of cake with the chocolate fudge frosting. Serves 12.
